You’ve all heard about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but did you know about Giving Tuesday? Giving Tuesday falls on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving and is a global day dedicated to giving back. Here at LTM Digital we are committed to giving back to our community – whether it be through volunteer work, donating products to those in need, or working with non-profit clients. Looking for some great ways to give back to your community? Here are some LTM approved #GivingTuesday campaigns.
Students Run LA
A non-profit organization that annually trains 3,500 middle school and high school students to complete the Los Angeles Marathon. Today on Giving Tuesday, Students Run LA launches their year-end giving campaign where they will actively fundraise to support their program. If you are interested in donating and giving the gift of running to students in the Los Angeles area this holiday season, check out the link below. Students Run LA is a current LTM Digital client.

Youth Mentoring Connection
A non-profit that helps foster the growth of young people through unique mentoring programs. Youth Mentoring Connection is really centered on highlighting the individual talents of the kids in the program to help them feel valued. By not taking the approach that these young people need to be fixed, this non-profit believes in creating a positive community where they can thrive. This is an organization that is close to our Founder’s heart. Lindsay has volunteered as a mentor in their surf program since 2007 and ran the LA Marathon on behalf of them in 2012. Find out how you can get involved in the link below.
Get Involved: Youth Mentoring Connection
A non-profit for the more athletic and extreme sport centric teen, Stoked helps to close the “opportunity gap” by connecting low income students with mentors in a surf or snow environment. The greatest predicator of how successful a child will be as an adult is based on the family income, those coming from a low income backgrounds are more likely to not graduate high school and have a low self-esteem. Stoked aims to level the playing field by having professional mentors take kids out surfing or snowboarding. For Giving Tuesday Stoked launched an awesome campaign that breaks down what a donation goes towards like $10 for breakfast and lunch or $135 that buys a whole day of snowboarding, check it out in the link below.

We love how Giving Tuesday helps to refocus our attention on finding ways to send ripples of kindness out into the world. Not only will your donation help to change someones life by either directly influencing a person or keeping the charitable origination running, but being generous is a proven way to increase your sense of well-being and happiness. Also, if you’re curious as to how your donations are allocated within an organization you can always visit CharityNavigator.org. We’re happy to have shared the non-profits were passionate about, but it’s important to find an organization you connect with – we hope you’re inspired to give back not only on Giving Tuesday, but throughout the year as well.
